ICT Service Desk Analyst - London N - London

Salary: £13.30 ph PAYE (including WTR/holiday pay) or £14.63 ph (same basis) if Librarian qualification held

TCL/LJ 14323: Our client seeks an experienced service desk analyst for an assignment within its ICT services division.
We are acting for a N London based local authority
The post will be located in Wood Green, N22 and will be for 36 hpw, Mon-Fri, normal business hours.
This is anticipated to be, initially at least, a 3 month assignment.
Essence of role:
1. To act as first point of contact for users, via all contact mediums (calls/email/other), ensuring contact is responded to (for example by answering the phone or emailing a reply) in a timely, customer focused manner, within established guidelines.
2. To log all problems or incidents accurately and clearly, according to established processes and policies.
3. To respond appropriately to user problems or incidents, using extensive process and technical skills and experience to provide suitable solutions within agreed targets resulting in a satisfied customer.
4. To establish and maintain a high level of incident ownership throughout the incident lifecycle from the time the incident is logged to the point it is resolved.
Candidate requirements (*indicates must be CLEARLY EVIDENT FROM YOUR CV, not just your covering letter, to avoid auto-rejection by client):
*Minimum of 2 years UK service desk analyst experience within a large organisation.
UK local authority or other public sector organisation useful, but not essential.
